Mrs. Albert Zimdars
(Carol)
Mrs. Albert Zimdars lifelong resident
of the town of Pella, died at her home there last Friday afternoon. An
invalid for several years, Mrs. Zimdars. was born in the town of Pella
Nov. 24, 1874. Her husband died several years ago.
Survivors include 7 daughters, Mrs. Richard Radtke of Clintonville, Mrs.
Harry Genskow of Marion, Esther and Lydia of Neenah; Lena, Viola and
Rose at home; 4 sons, Harry, Arnold, Vilas and Rueben all at home and 3
sisters, Mrs. Edward Meyer of Clintonville, Mrs. Alice Briggs of
Oshkosh, and Mrs. Fred Ewert of Stockton, Calif.
Funeral services were held Sunday at Salem Evangelical church,
Clintonville and burial was in Graceland Cemetery.

James Petcka
James "Jimmy Joe" Petcka, age 60, of N2987 Grass Lake Road,
Clintonville, Township of Belle Plaine, Shawano County, died Tuesday,
May 14, 2002, at Greentree Health & Rehabilitation Center in
Clintonville.
BIRTH & PARENTS:
Jim was born on Dec. 7,1941, in Clintonville. He was the son of the late
Joseph and Lois (Smith) Petcka.
EARLY YEARS & MARRIAGE:
Jim grew up in the Clintonville area where he later graduated from
Clintonville High School in 1960.
He joined the United States Army in March of 1963, and had an honorable
discharge due to a shoulder injury in August of 1963. Jim was united in
marriage to Linda Gretzinger on Aug. 9,1968, in Clintonville, where the
couple had resided until moving to Schofield for three years before
returning to Clintonville.
INTERESTS - EMPLOYMENT:
Jim worked as a beverage service distributor for various area companies,
and later operated Petcka's Clean-
Way Service in Clintonville for many years. He was a devoted Christian
and a member of St. Martin Lutheran Church in Clintonville. Jim played
for and was a fan of the Clintonville A's baseball team and the
Clintonville Curling Club. He had many hobbies including fishing,
hunting, golf, gardening, landscaping, and loved his dogs, especially
golden retrievers.
SURVIVORS:
Survivors include: his wife, Linda; a daughter, Tammy (Herb) Tetzke of
Bear Creek; two sons, J.J. (Deborah) Petcka of Bonduel, Joe Petcka of
Jersey City, N. J.; five grandchildren, Thomas, Teddy and Tyler Tetzke,
Gage and Grace Petcka; one sister, Joan Reinke of Clintonville.
PRECEDED BY:
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
FUNERAL SERVICES AND BURIAL:
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 17, at 11:30 a.m. at St.
Martin Lutheran Church in Clintonville with the Rev. Vilas Mazemke
officiating. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery in Clintonville.,
Friends may call at Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home from 5 until 8 this
evening and after 10:30 a.m. on Friday at the church until the time of
services.

Forrest
Trees G. Barrow,
age 80 of Clintonville passed away peacefully Sunday, February 10, 2013
at the Pine Manor Health Care Center, Embarrass
.
Forrest was born on September 20, 1932 in Kingsford, MI, the son of the
late Henry and Iona (Coen) Barrow. He attended Kingsford High School
where he ran track and set some records that held for over 30 years.
Forrest served in the U.S. Marine Corps from January 24, 1951 until his
discharge on May 26, 1952 where he obtained the rank of drill sergeant.
Forrest met a Clintonville girl, Dorothy Gretzinger in Milwaukee. The
two were married on February 20, 1954 at the Christus Lutheran Church,
Clintonville. The couple lived in Milwaukee and then in the Detroit, MI
area until returning to Clintonville in 1971 where they have lived
since. Forrest worked in different manufacturing management positions
including Garwood Industries in MI and Marion Body Works. He later
worked for Choice Beer Sales, Shawano until retirement. Dorothy preceded
her husband in death on May 16, 2006 after 52 years of marriage.
Forrests hobbies included curling, golfing, fishing, hunting and was an
award winning humstrum player. He also enjoyed playing softball and was
a proud member of the Untouchables team. His past memberships included
the Clintonville Curling Club and the Clintonville Riverside Golf
Course. Forrest enjoyed spending time and socializing with friends and
especially with his family.

He was preceded in death
by his parents, his wife, Dorothy, 2 brothers, Calvin Dick and John Jack
Barrow and his son-in-law, Joe Roberts.
Funeral services will be
held at 12 Noon, Thursday, February 14, 2013 at the St. Martin Lutheran
Church, Clintonville with the Rev. Daniel Burns officiating. Interment
will be in the Graceland Cemetery, Clintonville.
Friends may call from 4 until 8 P.M. Wednesday at the Eberhardt-Stevenson
Funeral Home & Crematory, Clintonville and after 11 A.M. Thursday at the
church until the time of the service.
Military honors will be provided by the American Legion Post # 63 and
the V.F.W. Post # 664 of Clintonville

Elvira L. Wolff,
age 85, of Pine Manor Health Care Center in Embarrass, formerly of
Clintonville, passed away Friday morning, May 25, 2007, at Pine Manor.
Elvira was born on Oct. 1, 1921, in
Shawano. She was the daughter of the late Arnold and Augusta (Koeller)
Kunschke. Elvira moved with her family to Clintonville as a young girl.
She was later united in marriage to Willard W. Wolff on June 7, 1937, in
Clintonville. The couple resided in Clintonville until 1950, when they
moved to Caroline where they owned and operated Wolff’s Bar. The couple
had then moved back to Clintonville before moving to Antigo in 1974,
returning to Clintonville in 1984 where they continued to live. Willard
preceded his wife in death on April 18, 1993. Elvira was a member of St.
Martin Lutheran Church in Clintonville for many years.
Survivors include three sons, Jim (Mari
Ann) Wolff, Maitland, Fla., Ken (Karleen) Wolff, Fond du Lac, Thomas
(Mary) Wolff, Clintonville; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren;
and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her
parents; her husband Willard; two grandchildren; a sister, Elnora
Buelter; and two brothers, Leonard & Ervin.
Private funeral
services will be held at a later date at Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral
Home, Clintonville, with the Rev. Christian Burg officiating and
interment will be in Graceland Cemetery, Clintonville. Memorials may be
directed to St. Martin Lutheran Church in Clintonville.

Ruth Irene Mehlberg - Graceland
Ruth Irene Mehlberg, age 91 of Clintonville was welcomed to Heaven and
into the waiting arms of Jesus, her husband, John, daughter, Bonnie
Jacoby, infant son, Johnny and four other infant children on Friday,
February 12, 2010 at the Greentree Health & Rehabilitation Center,
Clintonville after a short illness.
Ruth was born on July 15, 1918 in
Wittenberg, WI, the daughter of the late Edward and Irene (Blum) Mech.
She was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Wittenberg.
After graduating from High School, Ruth married John R. Mehlberg on July
24, 1937at St. Martin Lutheran Church, Clintonville. The couple lived in
Clintonville all of their married life. Ruth loved spending time working
in her yard as evidenced by her beautiful flowerbeds and rock gardens.
For a number of years, Ruth & John won awards for outstanding Christmas
displays at their home. Ruth was a gifted seamstress who was especially
proud of her quilting. She and her mother, Irene owned and operated
Southside Apparel in Clintonville. After closing the store she worked
for 10 years as at Schultz Brothers Store, Clintonville. Ruth later
worked at the J.C. Penny Store also in Clintonville for 21 years,
serving as assistant manager the last few years before retiring in 1980.
Mr. Mehlberg preceded his wife in death on February 14, 1982. For years,
Ruth was an active member of St. Martin Lutheran Church, Clintonville
where she belonged to the Sewing Bee. Later in life, she came to enjoy
playing bingo and was a bus host for Diane Thede Tours until this past
November. A fierce competitor, Ruth an avid card and game player who
made sure everyone played “honestly”. Ruth was a loving and gentle woman
who truly loved life. She led by example and taught us to make the most
of the life we were given, not questioning God’s plan for us. She will
be greatly missed.

infancy, 2 brothers, Ray & Roy Mech and numerous sisters-in-law and
brothers-in-law.
Funeral services will be held 6 P.M.
Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at the St. Martin Lutheran Church,
Clintonville with the Rev. Daniel Burns officiating. Inurnment will be
in the Graceland Cemetery, Clintonville;
Friends may call at the Church on
Tuesday from 4 P.M. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be
directed to the St. Martin Lutheran Church.
The Mehlberg family would like to thank
Aunt Gerri & Aunt Delores for the many card games; the visits with Uncle
Elroy & Aunt Elaine: all her bingo friends, especially, Debbie. A
special thanks to Orville Noak for all your kindness. To family, friends
& neighbors who have supported Uncle Roger and the family through Ruth’s
illness. Also to the Greentree and Heartland Hospice staff for all of
your kindness.

Julanne R. Laatsch
Julanne Rose Sannes Laatsch, 82, Green Bay, an Amherst Junction native,
died Saturday, July 14, 2012, at the Unity Hospice Center in De Pere.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Christus Lutheran
Church in Clintonville, with the Rev. Alan Daugherty officiating.
Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery in Clintonville.
Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the
services.
Memorials may be directed to the Unity Hospice Organization, 2366 Oak
Ridge Circle, De Pere, WI 54115.

Mrs. Laatsch was born July 12, 1930, in Amherst Junction, a daughter of
the late Bernie and Louise (Fontaine) Johnson. She attended school in
Amherst.
She was married to Everett Sannes on Feb. 12, 1949. He died on Jan. 13,
1971.
She was married to Earl Laatsch on Jan. 3, 1976.
The couple moved to Memphis, Tenn., until he retired in 1986 and they
returned to Clintonville. In 2006 the couple moved to Woodside Manor in
Green Bay where they have lived since.
She was an active member of the Christus Lutheran Church while in
Clintonville where she was a member of many Women Circles and enjoyed
singing in the church choir. She was a certified nursing assistant and
worked at the Clintonville Hospital from 1972 until 1977.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Jeffrey (Karen) Sannes and
Steven (Eileen) Sannes; one daughter, Cheryl (Jeff) Macejkovic; one
stepdaughter, Alyce Ricker; one sister, Shirley Damas; six
grandchildren; several stepgrandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Bertha Kisling and Nell
Jensen; and two granddaughters.

Mrs. Wayne Wedde (Beverly)
Mrs. Wayne (Beverly) Wedde, 44,
Clintonville, a former resident of the Hatley and Wittenberg area, died
Tuesday afternoon in Clintonville.
The former Beverly Koskey was born on Feb. 21, 1936, in Hatley, daughter
of the late Joseph Koskey and Regina Koskey, Pike Lake. She spent her
early life in Wittenberg and, on Oct. 8, 1955, in Clintonville, married
Wayne Wedde, who survives. She lived her entire married life in the
Clintonville area, where she and her husband owned and operated the
Shoppers Guide.
Surviving besides the mother and husband are a daughter, Kim, at home;
two sons, Randall and Bruce, both of Clintonville; two brothers, Elroy,
Pike Lake; and Joe, Menomonee Falls.
Services will be Friday at 11:30 a.m. at St. Martin Lutheran Church,
Clintonville, with the Rev. Donald Miller officiating. Burial will be
in Graceland Cemetery, Clintonville.
Friends may call on Thursday from 4 to 9 p.m. at the Eberhardt Funeral
Home, Clintonville, and on Friday at the church from 10 a.m. until the
time of services.

Elma H. Pubanz
Elma H. (Beggs) Pubanz, 94, Clintonville, a Bancroft native, died
Friday, Sept. 25, 2009, at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Eberhardt-Stevenson
Funeral Home & Crematory in Clintonville, with the Rev. Vilas Mazemke
officiating. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery in Clintonville.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10 a.m. Monday until the
services.

Mrs. Pubanz was born June 28, 1915, in Bancroft, a daughter of the late
Harry and Ruby (Campbell) Beggs. She graduated from Bancroft High
School.
She was married to Leonard L. Pubanz on June 28, 1936, in Stevens Point.
He died on Jan. 9, 1987.
The couple resided in Bancroft, moving to Shawano in 1952 and to
Clintonville in 1964.
Survivors include one daughter, Wilda Burdick, Wisconsin Rapids; one
son, Len (Judy), Shawano; five grandchildren; and seven
great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, Howard Beggs; and four
sisters, Eva Buelow, Merna Bowen, Flora Jackson, and Zita Beggs in
infancy.

Edna Witt Seering
Edna M. Seering, 89, Junction City,
formerly of Clintonville, died Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2007, at the House of
the Dove in Marshfield while under the care of Ministry Home Care
Hospice Services.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Martens/Kundinger Funeral Home in
Junction City, with the Rev. Timothy W. Roser officiating. Burial will
take place in Graceland Cemetery in Clintonville.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10 a.m. Friday until the
services.
Memorials in her name may be designated to House of the Dove Ministry
Health Care.

Mrs. Seering was born July 14, 1917, in the town of Wyoming in Waupaca
County, a daughter of the late William and Amelia (Lueck) Witt. She
graduated from eighth grade.
She was married to LaVern "Shorty" Seering on Dec. 7, 1940, in Caroline.
He died in July 1978.
Through the years she worked as a caregiver at several nursing homes in
the Clintonville area.
Survivors include one daughter, Jill Solinsky, Junction City; one son,
Scott, Mosinee; one brother, Harold Witt, Clintonville; and three
grandchildren, Bobbi del Plaine, Oshkosh, and Lindsay and Lauren Seering,
both of Mosinee.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Bernice Piotrowski.

Arvila G. PASSEHL
Arvila G. Passehl, age 95 of
Clintonville, passed away Tuesday morning October 13, 2009 at the Pine
Manor Health Care Center in Embarrass, WI.
Arvila was born on June 13, 1914 in Bear Creek, WI. She was the
daughter of the late Otto and Amelia (Abraham) Prellwitz. On May 31,
1933 Arvila was united in marriage to Clarence Passehl in Clintonville
where the couple were members of the Christus Lutheran Church.
Clarence preceded his wife in death on September 15, 1969. Arvila
lived 95 years filled with laughter, love of family, and love for the
Lord.
Survivors: Her Daughter, Phyllis (William) Blackwell, Oshkosh. Her
Son. Dennis (Sheila) Passehl, Richmond, VA, 7 Grandchildren, 15
Great-Grandchildren, & 9 Great-Great-Grandchildren, a sister, Merva
Graichen, New London, a Son-in-Law, Donald Schroeder. Also many
special nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her
husband Clarence, a son Jerry, a daughter Dona Schroeder, Sisters;
Leona Warden, Lorine Rindt, Edna Clemm, and Brothers; Robert, Martin,
Norman, and Rueben Prellwitz.

Funeral services will be held Friday October 16, 2009 at 11 AM at the
Christus Lutheran Church in Clintonville with the Rev. Willard Hager
officiating. Interment will follow at the Graceland Cemetery also in
Clintonville.
Friends may call at the church on Friday from 10 AM until the time of

John (Johann) Passehl - His obituary as stated in the Clintonville
Tribune:
Friday, June 7, 1918. AGED MAN
GONE. John Passehl died last week Sunday, aged 81 years. He was a
pioneer in the Bear Creek country and was of the men who made a
fruitful field of the dense forest, and blazed the way through hardship
and hard work, with dauntless energy, for our present advance state of
culture. He was born in Mecklenberg, Germany, and came to American as
a young man. He settled at Dale. Later he moved to Bear Creek, where
he lived for 45 years. He was married 3 times, his last wife dying 12
years ago. He has for some years made his home with his son Herman, on
the old homestead. He left 2 sons Fred and Herman; and 1 daughter,
Mrs. Gust Pranke; 26 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
