Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Rasmussen of Pine Plain were pleasantly surprised by a large number of relatives and friends Saturday evening in the form of a farewell party. Mr. and Mrs. Rasmussen leave April 1 for Marshfield where they will make their home on the Ebbe farm, four miles north of the city. Thurs 7 May 1914, Clintonville News, Page 94 GOLTZ, John and his wife from Town Larrabee celebrated their golden wedding anniversary last Sunday with their children and their families, friends and relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Goltz were married in West Prussia fifty years ago and came to this land in 1883. The eight children born into this marriage are: Wm. Goltz, Mrs. Anna Luebke, Mrs. Augusta Ebel, Mrs. Emma Rosnow, Gust Goltz, Mrs. Bertha Meltzer, Emil Goltz and Charles Goltz. Mr. Goltz is eighty and his wife is seventy years old. V.W.
