VISITORS SURPRISE VAUGHAN - When L. A. Vaughan returned
home from his duties at the Plywood Friday evening at nine o'clock, he was
greeted by a group of neighbors and friends who had gathered at his home
to assist in celebrating his fiftieth birthday anniversary. Cards music
and luncheon at a late hour, composed the evening's program. Those present
were Mr. and Mrs. Tuyls, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Fiestel, Mr. and Mrs. Wm.
Kopitzke, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Tesch and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. August
Meschke, Mr. and Mrs. Norris, and Miss Edith LaMon and Evan Vaughan of
