Gary Tischauser
Gary L. Tischauser, age 55, of N4497 County
Highway G, Leopolis, Shawano County, died Saturday, July 13, 2002 at his
residence. The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home, Marion, served his
family. Gary was born on March 5, 1947 in Waupaca, WI, the son of
Marion (Much) Tischauser and the late Wilfred Tischauser. Upon
finishing his schooling, Gary entered the United States Army in 1967
where he served his country in the Vietnam War until leaving with an
honorable discharge in 1969 due to an injury. Upon his return Gary
worked at the Feed mill in Caroline until it closed sometime later.
During that time he met and married Gloria Haines on July 8, 1972 in
Leopolis. Then, upon joining the Army Reserves, Gary went to active
duty in Panama, and later in the Gulf War where he served in Saudi
Arabia. When the war ended he took a job at the Green Bay Post Office
as a truck driver. Gary was a member of the Blashe-Peters-Tober
American Legion Post #456 in Caroline. Throughout his life, Gary
enjoyed collecting guns, gardening, and taking care of his lawn.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria; three daughters, Lisa Whiteley,
Appleton, Dawn Tischauser, Denver, CO, Diana Tischauser, Leopolis; four
sons, Jesse (Tara) Tischauser, Gauthier, OK, Jeffrey Tischauser,
Leopolis, Joel (Shelby) Tischauser, Clintonville, James (Jenny)
Tischauser, Marion; three grandchildren, Kristopher Whiteley, Appleton,
Desiree and Anthony Tischauser, Marion; one brother, Tim (Rebecca)
Tischauser, Shawano; two sisters, Sharon (Ronald) Peebles, Shawano and
Karen (Emil) Wiesman, Caroline. Gary was preceded in death by his
father.
A memorial service will be held at Roseland Cemetery on Friday,
August 2, at 1:30 p.m.

Alma Preuss
Funeral services for Mrs. Alma Preuss, 69,
114 Center Street, Neenah were held from Martin Luther Church, Neenah.
Mrs. Preuss passed Sunday evening, June 1, 1969 after a two month
illness. She was born March 21, 1900, the daughter of the late Mr. &
Mrs. John Albert Zillmer in Marion. She married William Preuss of Union
on May 17, 1917 and they spent their married life on a farm in the town
of Dupont. He died in 1931 and she moved to Neenah shortly after.
Survivors include two daughters, Lucille, Mrs. Harry Heath of Waukesha
and Germaine, Mrs. Donald Gore, Neenah; 2 sisters, Fern, Mrs. Ren
Ratzburg, Neenah, and Adeline, Mrs. Louie Ratzberg, Marion; 2 brothers,
Edwin, Clintonville and William Zillmer, Marion. Also 6 grandchildren
and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter,
Gladys, Mrs. Eugene Bushman; 2 sisters, Minnie, Mrs. August Polzin and
Ella, Mrs. Charles Knaack, and a brother John. Burial was in Roseland
Cemetery, Marion.
