Ora A. Bovee
Ora A. Bovee, 84, Plainfield, died Sunday, May 31, 2009, at her home.
Funeral services will be held at noon Wednesday at the New Life Assembly
of God Church in Plainfield, with the Rev. Howard Kruzie officiating.
Interment will be in Spencer Lake Memorial Park Cemetery in Waupaca.
Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the
services.
Roseberry's Funeral Home in Friendship assisted the family with

Mrs. Bovee was born Jan. 26, 1925, in Stevens Point, a daughter of the
late Clarence and Grace (Grover) Lester. She graduated from P.J. Jacobs
High School in Stevens Point in 1944.
Following her graduation, she was employed by the IRS in Chicago, Ill.,
and Gates Rubber Co. in Denver, Colo.
She was married to Paul Bovee on Dec. 20, 1947, in Stevens Point.
She became a homemaker and raised their six children.
She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Plainfield for more than
60 years and read the Bible 40 times.
Survivors include her husband, Plainfield; six children, John (Mari Anne)
Bovee, Plainfield, Jim (Teresa) Bovee, Nekoosa, Jean Bovee, Mercedes,
Texas, Jacqueline (John) Petruska, Rhinelander, Julie Boerner-Bovee,
Imperial, Mo., and Joey Bovee, Glennallen, Alaska; one sister, Pearl (Art)
Starr, Denver, Colo.; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, Royal Lester; and three
sisters, Crystal Tracy, June Blazak and Orelia Bashore.
