Pioneer Certificate Applicants We are proud to announce the launching of the Waupaca County Pioneer Certificate program. This program has been developed in part to honor both the pioneer ancestors of Waupaca County and their descendants. The program is offered to those who can submit evidence showing that his/her ancestor was present in Waupaca County, Wisconsin in or before January 1,1870. Descendants applying for the Pioneer Certificate do not have to have lived in Waupaca County and does not currently have to reside in Waupaca County. A high quality, suitable for framing Waupaca County Pioneer Certificate is available for a fee for those whose submissions meet the requirements of the society. All materials submitted as evidence becomes the property of WAGS and will not be returned. Do not send original documents. Forms and guidelines are available from this site in PDF form. Also provided below are a few helpful websites to assist in your research and a few websites that offer a variety of free forms for your use. An index will be assembled from the Waupaca County Pioneer submissions and provided on this site to assist family historians in finding ancestors and other researchers who share their ancestors.
