Wautoma, Waushara County, Wisconsin
December 11, 1885
HOME CORNER
S. Collins is gaining and is considered out of
danger.
Mrs. Potter is suffering with erysipelas of
the face.
Belle Collins returned to to her school at
Hancock the fore part of the week.
The saw mill of Taplin & Nelson was moved last
week and is now located on H.D. Baxter's land about3/4 of a mile
north-east of this village. The work of setting the mill up has snice been
in progress and it will be ready for business in a few days. It's said
that lost of logs will be put in during the winter and a good winter's
work is looked for.
HANCOCK
Mr. I. Ordway has purchased the tin shop
formerly owned by J.F. Wiley.
Mrs. I. P. Wetmore has bought the house
formerly occupied by Mrs. B. Pratt.
F.S. Perkins is on the sick list again.
B. Hales new house makes a great improvement
to Main street. We hope Mr. Hales and family will live many years to enjoy
their new home.
