The Polish Pioneer Cemetery was established in 1902. The cemetery had become overgrown with natural vegetation and trees. About two years ago the cemetery was cleaned up, and large white crosses put on all graves that did have a tombstone. The name list below is from the readable stones only, the white crosses did not have any names written on them. Owner of the cemetery currently is the 'Nativity of Our Lord Parish, 1350 N. Stevens St. Rhinelander, WI 54501'. |
Entrance to the Cemetery is set back some distance from Max Road but it is visable from the road |
