Cranberry Lake was a small settlement in the Town of Hackett. It was located approximately three miles north-west of a station stop on the Wisconsin Central Rail Road known as "Station 101" and later as Worcester. It was a sparsely populated area in the late 1800's and early 1900's until immigrants moved into the area to settle the cut-over areas left behind by loggers.
