Clintonville, Wisconsin - January 4, 1889
At eight o'clock of the new year's morning, at the cozy residence of Capt.
and Mrs. J. W. Dean, in the fifth ward, was performed the ceremony uniting
in marriage their eldest daughter, Nettie M., to Mr. Irvin Gray, one of Rhinelander's most popular
and progressive young business men. The ceremony was performed by Rev. A.
M. Bullock, of the M. E. Church, in the presence of Capt, and Mrs. Dean,
Nellie and Mabel Dean, Mr. and Mrs. George P. Dean of Ironwood, Mr. and
Mrs. A. W. Dean of Antigo, Mrs. A Trayser, Miss Mertie Combs of Royalton,
Miss Maggie Gibson of Neenah. After the service of a choice wedding
breakfast, Mr. and Mrs. Gray departed for Chicago, where they expected to
visit with friends for several days.

Oshkosh, and Miss Anna N. Woulf, of Menasha, were united in marriage at the
M. E. parsonage, in this city, May 13, Rev. A. M. Bullock officiating.

Miss Clara Barker, formerly of Weyauwega, then a teacher in Oshkosh, but
lately graduating at the Spencer business college in shorthand and type
writing, then having desk room at the Plankinton House, and teaching the
art. Chas. Davis, a millionaire paper manufacturer of Neenah met her, fell
in love with her, and---the result, a wedding last week.

At the home of Mrs. Monroe on Mt. Vernon Street, Oshkosh, Sunday
afternoon, Mrs. Martha Tuttle, of Oshkosh, was united in marriage
to Mr. Thomas Hopkins, of Weyauwega. The Rev. William Bennett of
the Second Methodist church officiated.

Miss Ella O. Larson and Mr. Joseph Pett were married last
evening at the residence of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. Larson,
and left on the late train for Stevens Point, where Mr. Pett is engaged in
business. The wedding was attended by intimate friends, and many elegant
presents were received by the happy couple.
