Wisconsin - January 8, 1902
The marriage of Miss Winnie Hansom to George Johl took place
Tuesday, Dec. 31. The ceremony was performed at Waupaca and the wedding
festivities took place at the home of the groom in Scandinavia. The bride
is an adopted daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Woods and has made her home
here since childhood. During the past few years she taught in the public
school at Scandinavia. Mr. Johl is in business at that place, where the
young couple expect to make their future home.

The marriage of Mrs. H. Bluhm to Wm. Richter, both of the
town of Mukwa, took place yesterday.

Wisconsin - February 12, 1902
The marriage of Miss Augusta Heinrich of Manawa to Wm. C. Miller of this
village will take place this evening at the home of the bride's parents.
The ceremony will be performed in the Lutheran church at Manawa at 7:30
o'clock, Rev. Mundinger officiating. After a brief stay in Manawa Mr. and
Mrs. Miller will return to Weyauwega, where a comfortable residence which
Mr. Miller erected during the past summer, is awaiting them.

Wisconsin - March 26, 1902
The marriage of Miss Ann MacLeod to Geo. D. Robertson is
announced to take place at Hoquian, Wash., on Wednesday, April 2nd. Mr.
Robertson has a position as surveyor for Chehallis county, in that state.

The marriage of Miss Mary Thiel to Wm. Pomrening took place
at the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. Chris. Thiel, in Baldwin Mills
Monday.
The marriage of Miss Emily Samson to
Nels Nelson took place Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the M.E.
parsonage in New London, Rev. Isaac Johnson, officiating. The young couple
have gone to Madison on a wedding tour and will return to Weyauwega some
time this week and occupy the handsome home Mr. Nelson has had in
preparation during the past year. Both bride and groom are well known to
Weyauwegians.

AT HYMAN'S ALTER
REUTER-MERTEN
The marriage of Miss Emma Mertens, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred
Mertens of this village, to Henry Reuter of New London, took place
yesterday. The ceremony was performed by Rev. J.G. Oehlert in the Lutheran
church in the presence of an audience of relatives and friends that filled
nearly every available seat. During the evening the event was duly
celebrated at the home of the bride which was prettily decorated for the
occasion, and at Woodman Hall where dancing was kept up until early
morning. Many costly and appropriate presents were given the young couple
by their friends.
Mr. Reuter is a tailor of New London, which will be their future home.
They have the best wishes of a host of friends.
VINCENT-GUMAER
The marriage of Miss Pansy E. Gumaer to Louis D. Vincent
took place at Menasha Wednesday. The ceremony was performed by Rev. A.E.
Leonard in the Congregational parsonage in that city. Both are well known
to our readers as Weyauwega has been their home from childhood. Mr.
Vincent has a position as tinner with the Reinhold Supply Co. of Plymouth,
for which city they left that afternoon. The best wishes of a host of
Weyauwega friends go with them. Veteranized Sept. 11, 1863, and honorable
discharged Oct. 9, 1865.

Wisconsin - April 30, 1902
Paul Behnke and Mary Schmandt were married at Fremont, last
Tuesday. The event was duly celebrated at the home of the bride, near
Orihula. A number of intimate friends of the this place were present, who
wish them joy and happiness on their journey through life.

John Ratzburg and Mrs. Ledig both old residents of Fremont
were married May 1st.
A marriage license was issued last week to Clara Samson of Royalton
and Herman A.C. Radtke of Merrill.

A marriage license has been issued to Frank Haze and Lydia
Glaisner, both of Lind, and to Frank Shanrock and Anna Below,
both of New London.

The marriage of Miss Frances Klug daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman
Klug, to Emil Butt, took place Sunday at the Lutheran church. The
bride's maids on this occasion were the Misses Lena Klug, Emma Pirk and
Emma Huebner, and the groomsmen Messrs. John Kleist, Otto Butt and Henry
Follendorf. The event was duly celebrated at the home of the bride's
parents during the remainder of the afternoon and evening.

KNEIP-BORHAM NUPTIALS
The marriage of Miss Elinore Borham, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry
Borham, to Fred Kneip, took place at the home of the bride's
parents at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon, Rev. J.T. LEEK officiating. Only
relatives and a few intimate friends were present. The bridesmaids and
groomsmen on this occasion were the Misses Harriet Borham and Clara Kneip,
and Wm. Kneip and S.D. Borham. Immediately after the ceremony and the
customary well wishes, an elegant dinner was spread, and after the
partaking of this the bride and groom, in company of a few friends, were
driven to the depot where they boarded the train amid showers of rice.
They left for Loyal, where Mr. Kneip has secured a position as principal
of the public school. The best wishes of the Chronicle and a host of
Weyauwega friends go with them to their new home.

MARRIED
Charles A. Peterson and Miss Ruby A. Holman were quietly
married at the home of the bride's parents in Rural, Friday. They will
make their home here and reside in a house on Sumner Street which is owned
by the groom. Miss Holman has been a successful schoolma'am in this county
for several years, and Mr. Peterson is a member of the Baldwin Creamery
company. The Chronicle joins their many friends in extending well wishes.

Announcements have been received here by friends of the coming marriage of
George H. Mack, the second son of John Mack who was one of
Weyauwega's first settlers and removed to Chattanooga, Tenn., about
fifteen years ago. Mr. Mack will be married to Miss Margaret Keller
of Knoxville, Tenn., where he occupies a pulpit in Cumberland Presbyterian
church, on Tuesday, Oct. 14.
The marriage of Miss Emma, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Aug. Dregott,
to Albert Prill, both of the town of Union, took place Wednesday
last. The event was duly celebrated at the home of the bride's parents,
and a general good time is reported. The attendance was very large. Among
the guests from this vicinity were Mr. and Mrs. H. Schoenick, and Stephen
Miller and three sons of Metz.

Before the Altar
Miss Martha L. Schmidt and Andrew W. Brown, both attendants
in the county asylum, were married in that institution Monday evening. The
ceremony was performed by Rev. E.C. Henke, at 7 o'clock, in the parlors
which were prettily decorated with potted plants and cut flowers, for the
occasion. The following guests were present: Mr. and Mrs. C.M. Hayward,
Miss Susie Hayward, Master DeForest Hayward, Mr. and Mrs. A.C. Hagermann,
Mr. and Mrs. Peter Craig, Mrs. E.C. Henke, the Misses Helena Fehrman, Ida
Teck and Bertha Teck and W.W. Levisee and Martin Craig.
The bride and groom were attended by Miss Elsie Minckler and Mr. Louis
Wellin. After the ceremony the company proceeded to the dining room where
an elaborate wedding supper was served under direction of Mrs. Hayward.
Music was furnished by Supt. Hayward.
Invitations are out for the wedding of
Miss Mary Zietlow, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Zietlow of the town
of Wolf River, to Robert Zempel, one of the prominent young men of
the town of Weyauwega. The event will take place Thursday, Nov. 20.
The marriage of Miss Ida Ziechert to
Robert Thieme, both of the town of Caledonia, will take place next
Wednesday, Nov. 19.

Wisconsin - December 17, 1902
TO BE MARRIED TODAY
A very pretty wedding will take place this afternoon on the pleasant farm
home of Mrs. Fred Teal in the town of Royalton, the contacting parties
being Miss Edith Teal, daughter of Mrs. Fred Teal, and Wm.
Zietlow, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Zielow of Orihula. About one hundred
and fifty guests will be present to participate in the happy event.
Rev. J.G. Oehlert will perform the ceremony
in the Lutheran church at 2 o'clock. The bride will be becomingly attired
in gray, and will carry bunches of carnations. She will be attended by the
Misses Emma Teal, Martha Marquardt and Bertha Race of Neenah, and the
groom will be attended by Messrs. Emil Race of Neenah, Gus. Zietlow and
Herman Teal. The parlor and dining room tables will be beautifully
decorated with trailing pine, cedar and holly.
The bride is well known to a large circle of friends in this vicinity,
and the groom is a popular young man of the town of Weyauwega whose
friends are numbered by scores. The young couple will reside on a farm
owned by the groom, lying two miles two miles west of Weyauwega.
The Chronicle joins in hearty congratulations and well wishes.

Wisconsin - December 24, 1902
HAPPILY MARRIED
The marriage of Miss Ida Waterson of Hatton, to Reinhard Wiese
of the town of Fremont, took place Thursday, at the home of the
Justice Jas. Devens who officiated. The bridesmaids and best men on this
occasion were the Misses Emma Schwandke and Dickie Bartlett, and Messers,
Otto Hirte and Aug. Behnke. Immediately after the ceremony the bridal
couple and guests drove to the home of the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Wm. Wiese, where refreshments were served and where a few pleasant hours
were spent. During the evening they assembled at the home of the bride's
mother, Mrs. E.M. Watherson where dancing was indulged in until a late
hour when refreshments were again served.
Both contracting parties are well known in
this vicinity, and have many friends who join the Chronicle in wishing
them a happy voyage through life.
