Clifford
Clifford was a small community located on US Highway 8 at the edges of the southeast corner of Price County, the southwest corner of Oneida County and the northeast corner of Lincoln County.
Like the other communities of the area, Clifford was founded based on the logging industry. In the early 1900's Clifford had two general stores: the Sinkula Store and the Clifford Co-op; a post office; blacksmith shop; cheese factory and a Finn Hall.
Clifford slowly disappeared along with the trees and is no more than another vacant rural area along the side of the highway.
