USGenWeb Project

Hello Researcher, my name is Judy Groh and I am the coordinator for Vilas County WIGenWeb project. I grew up in the Town of Lac du Flambeau , and except for about four years have lived in the western part of Vilas & Oneida counties. Although I do not have the time to do your family research, I can help point you in the right direction and do lookups in selected resources listed under my name further down this page.

The individuals who volunteer to do lookups for Vilas County and other WIGenWeb sites do so on their own time and without any compensation. They do it out of a passion for genealogy, helping others as they were helped with their family research.

Look-Up Volunteers are very busy people, so PLEASE! limit your requests and never request the same material from more than one volunteer.

  • Always put "Vilas Cty Look-Up" in the subject line of all emails
  • Include known vital information about the person and what sources you want the volunteer to check.
  • When you receive the information please respond with a "Thank You".
